Monday July 16.....Horse Camp!

Pizza Girls...
This week Molly was in horse camp again and had a good time. It is a working stable and the kids really work! Molly just loves to be in the barns and muck out the stalls...you can imagine the aroma she comes home with after hot day at camp. I told her that she is the only person that I would ever hug that smelled so bad!
Last night Lily had a sleepover and the girls made their own pizza...throwing the dough around, sauce, and toppings. As always the girls had a wonderful time together.

Art Camp at the Cape Coral Art Studio
Molly went to art camp this week with her friend Corey. Corey is one of the original playgroup babies and the kids still really enjoy each other. The camp wasn't a big hit...the theme was Jungle Boogie, but the kids weren't crazy about the structure of being told what to draw. I think the highlight was the day off for the 4th and the 5th when they had a "play hooky" day and stayed at Corey's house playing together.
The Fourth of July!
To celebrate the 4th this year Molly and I went on vacation in our own backyard! We rented a room on Fort Myers Beach with my friend Kathy, packed a bunch of food, brought a friend for Molly to play with and were truly on vacation! We ate and relaxed, then watched the fireworks show from the balcony. I did not miss the traffic mess exiting the show a bit!
