Marine Biology Camp Week

This past week Molly attended a marine biology camp at the Ostego Bay science center on Ft Myers beach. This was scheduled ahead for her to attend with Danny Cunningham who had the unfortunate luck to be stung in the face by a wasp the day before camp started. The camp ran from 9am to 4pm and each day the campers visited a different beach to learn about what and who lived where. The kids walk and rode the local trolly. They toured a shrimp packing plant, went boating, fishing, netting and swimming. The bast part of all is that they took a ton of pictures all week and then presented the parents with a slide show on Friday afternoon, giving us a copy of the pictures on disc. So the pics here are from that. I was very impressed.... it is a great way for us to see what is really going on since at 4pm pick up I wasn't getting a lot of chit chat!

Molly - I still don't know what happened to your teeth! And your hair is so long!!! Looks like you had a great week. I wish I had been able to see a live seahorse. Did you know that boy seahorses have the babies? Love, Grandma

Well Miss Molly, sure looks like you had a great time and very educational too! I hope your friend Danny didn't suffer too much with his wasp bite....that must of hurt!

Hi Molly, Biology camp looks great. I especially like the baby shark. I wanted to be a marine biologist when I was little so I want to hear all about it. Mindy and I can't wait to see you in a few weeks.
