To celebrate the 4th this year Molly and I went on vacation in our own backyard! We rented a room on Fort Myers Beach with my friend Kathy, packed a bunch of food, brought a friend for Molly to play with and were truly on vacation! We ate and relaxed, then watched the fireworks show from the balcony. I did not miss the traffic mess exiting the show a bit!

What a great idea!!! I never would have thought of it....you're such a smart mom!!! We can't wait to see you both at the end of the month. We have some good news....we sold my mother in law's house and had a great yard sale too! Want to tell you Carolyn has a virus on her computer and that is why there has been no action on her blog. We are all sad!!!!!
Your celebration looks wonderful. It's always nice to see you and Nana sharing the holidays. We've have noisy fireworks every night for a week somewhere on the lake - I'll be glad when it's over! Love you.

Fourth of July was beautiful. The view from that 2nd story balcony at dusk and on into the night was perfection. I want to be in on the room next year!
