Almost a year to the day of the above picture being taken, Sophie last her battle with cancer.
I invite you to visit her site www.smilesforsophie.com and also the site www.prayersfrommaria.org . The second site is for a foundation created by the parents of Maria who died last month of the same cancer. The foundation is trying to raise awareness and money to fund research grants.
Please keep Sophie's parents, Marc & Emily in your thoughts and prayers. We are all so lucky...

Now little Sophie is whole and healthy again, playing with the angels. My prayers are for the family left behind. We take so much for granted- we are so very blessed.
Sara, as I've already said, my prayers are for Sophie's parents. My mind cannot imagine what they have experienced in the last year and the heartache they are enduring now. I know their faith has gotten them here and I pray God will give them peace.
